Herbal Tinctures

Herbal tinctures are liquid herbal extracts made with a combination of medicinal herbs, pure alcohol and spring water. A properly made herbal tincture has a shelf life of approximately 4 years. All herbal tinctures must be diluted with a small amount of water before being taken, for example, each 5 ml (1 tsp) dose should be diluted in an egg cup full of water. Please note that herbal tinctures may not be suitable for small children, during pregnancy, in cases of gastric or intestinal inflammation, liver disease, or in the case of alcohol sensitivity.

Custom blending

Dispensary staff will custom blend herbal tinctures as requested at no extra cost.

Practitioners Service

A custom blending (compounding) and dispensing service is available to complementary medicine practitioners in the Toronto area. Walk in service as well as mail order service is available. Please contact us for more information. Note: All practitioners formulae orders must be written in standard format to ensure efficient service. We do not use heat or chemical solvents during the manufacturing process.

• 250 ml amber glass bottles with lined screw cap. Dispensing cups are provided with each bottle dispensed.
• 100 ml amber glass bottles with lined screw cap. Dispensing cups are provided with each bottle dispensed.
• 50 ml amber dropper bottle.
