Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils which are subtle, volatile liquids derived through distillation and other methods from plants, shrubs, flowers, trees, roots and seeds. Each essential oil has specific therapeutic and balancing properties and is uniquely aromatic. Their use also directly stimulates the limbic system – emotional center of the brain—via the sense of smell. There are many uses of essential oils today; most common uses are through topical applications and inhalation. Specially blended combinations of essential oils have the ability to treat a variety of physical and emotional disorders without side effects.
